Website Redesign
Overview
I redesigned the Healthy Sheboygan County (HSC) website while working at Dynamic.
Healthy Sheboygan County had recently invested in a new logo and was looking to redesign their website to match the new look and color scheme. The team was also looking for more content and functionality options. HSC also wanted the site to be cheerful and inviting.
For this website redesign I created two versions for the HSC team to choose from.
Highlights
Adobe XD
This was the first website that I designed utilizing Adobe XD. The standard in the office had previously been Photoshop. I worked with the development team on how best to prepare my files for them.
ADA Compliance
I researched ADA compliant colors and font sizes. I tested colors in an ADA compliance contrast checker. I also made sure all headings and body text were easy to read. I avoided styles that could be difficult for the end user.
UI Design
Many factors were kept in mind while designing the website. My top priority was making sure that the website was ADA compliant. I also focused on making the site cheerful and a reflection of Sheboygan County.
Working with Client
I worked with the clients throughout the entire process. I asked questions to learn more about them during the initial discovery session. I also presented my ideas to them and worked with the HSC team to combine designs into a final product.
